Is Hilly Hideaway suitable for babies and young families?

Yes, absolutely! We welcome babies and families, and can provide a travel cot and high chair upon request.

What is the check in process?

Your lodge will be available from 2pm on the day of your arrival, though we try to offer a flexible arrival time wherever possible. We may not be able to accommodate you if you arrive early as we will be busy getting everything ready for your stay.

We offer a self check in process, so you have flexibility to arrive at your leisure. You will receive details of how to find the Hilly Hideaway lodge, and your unique one-time pass code for the lock box 24-48 hours prior to your arrival.

Please vacate your lodge by 10am on the day of your departure, this is to allow us enough time to change over before the next guests.

Do you provide wood for the hot bath and fire pit?

Yes, we provide logs, fire starters and kindling so you should have everything that you need. The fire under the hot bath will be made up for you on arrival, so all you need to do is light it.

Can we bring a dog? 

Unfortunately we are not able to accommodate dogs (or any other pets) at Hilly Hideaway due to animals in adjacent fields. Additionally, we need to ensure the lodge is pet-free and suitable for guests with allergies.

Do you provide towels

Yes, we provide fluffy bath towels for all guests for your stay.

What is your cancellation policy?

We hope you don't have to cancel your stay with us, but we understand that sometimes things happen beyond your control. If you have to cancel up to 14 days before booking, you will receive a full refund. For further details, please review our full cancellation policy.
